Global Exploration for Sustainable Business 2025 · Geneva

From September 2nd to 5th, 2025, the “Global Exploration for Sustainable Business 2025” event series, initiated by the Sustainable Business Leaders Forum, debuted in Geneva, Switzerland. During this time, a series of events including high-level dialogues, international cooperation seminars, a gala dinner, and a themed luncheon were arranged for senior Chinese business representatives and UN officials.

 

 

2025 "Building Sustainable Brands" International Cooperation Seminar

The event brought together experts from international organizations and think tanks including the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Forum on Sustainability Standards (UNFSS), and the International Trade Centre (ITC), alongside senior representatives from the Chinese business sector. Participants discussed how enterprises can address current challenges and drive long-term value through sustainable development strategies, innovative business and brand practices, and international cooperation within a globalized context.

 

 

"Sustainable Brands Vision" China Night 2025

The inaugural "Sustainable Brands Vision" China Night (also referred to as China Night) was held in Geneva. Organized by SBLF and supported by SBBC, this thematic event aimed to build a communication bridge between Chinese enterprises and international partners, fostering a shared vision for responsible and sustainable world-class brand development within a global cooperation framework.

 

 

 

 

 

The China Night featured addresses by:

• Mr. Zhang Xiangchen, Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization

• Mr. James Zhan, Chairman of WIC Executive Board, World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies

• Mr. Chen Hongbing, Director of Madrid System, World Intellectual Property Organization

 

Representatives from international organizations including UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the United Nations Forum on Sustainability Standards (UNFSS), and the International Trade Centre (ITC), and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), as well as representatives from Chinese business sector participated in the event.
