Innovation for Industrial Sustainability 2024

Building on the success of the 2023 SDG Summit side event "Innovation for Industrial Sustainability 2023", the "Sustainable Business Leaders Forum" once again collaborated with the UN DESA in 2024 to support and actively engage in the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development thematic workshop: "Climate Mitigation Technologies: Innovation for Industrial Sustainability 2024".

"Climate Mitigation Technologies: Innovation for Industrial Sustainability 2024" took place on July 10, 2024, at the UN Headquarters in New York (EST). Co-hosted by UN DESA, Tsinghua University, and the ClimateWorks Foundation, with support from the "Sustainable Business Leaders Forum", the event gathered UN officials, academic experts, and business leaders to explore the role of climate change mitigation technologies in addressing global climate challenges and their long-term impact on industrial sustainability.

The Sustainable Business Leaders Forum provided in-depth support to the UN DESA research project, "Climate Change Mitigation Technology (CCMT) Transfer and Application: A Global Overview and Case Studies", and recommended outstanding practices from Chinese business sector.
